Hatyai University (HU), Thailand and Dong An Polytechnic (DAP), Socialist Republic of Vietnam are both private institutions of higher learning which Aspire to sustain academic excellence in the higher education sector in both The local and global arenas being member countries of the ASEAN with long established neighbourly ties and mutual internationalization agenda, HU and DAP will contribute towards the realization of the aims and objectives of the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) ,2015 by engaging one another in further Academic collaborations in several areas of mutual interests .It is in light of this Spirit of ASEAN cooperation that the President. DR WITTAWATDIDYASARINSATTAYARAK of Hatyai University, visits Dong An Polytechnic to Achieve the following aims: The visit has three aims, namely: 1. To identify several general areas of academic collaboration between HU and DAP 2. To further enhance the goodwill between the two institutions by Signing a Letter of Intent between HU and DAP as the first step Towards realizing more concrete action plans in the of future MoU / MoA within the span of a year 3. To further consolidate the strong ties ties between the two institutions, the President of HU will make an official announcement on the offering of two student scholarships to deserving candidates from DAP to study at HU for the coming academic session. The details of the scholarships will be made known during the visit.
