จากความสำเร็จของมหาวิทยาลัยหาดใหญ่ ที่คว้ารางวัลชนะเลิศ “รางวัลสุดยอดมหาวิทยาลัยในเอเชีย Times Higher Education Awards Asia 2024 ” ซึ่งมีเพียง 2 สถาบันจากประเทศไทยที่ได้รับรางวัลนี้ โดยอีกสถาบันหนึ่งคือ จุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย
มหาวิทยาลัยหาดใหญ่จึงได้รับเกียรติจากกระทรวงอุดมศึกษา วิทยาศาสตร์ วิจัยและนวัตกรรม โดยมี ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร.ปกรณ์ ลิ้มโยธิน รองอธิการบดีฝ่ายวิชาการ ได้รับเกียรติเป็นวิทยากรในการประชุมเชิงปฏิบัติการเพื่อการจัดเตรียมข้อมูลสำหรับการเข้าร่วมประกวด Times Higher Education (THE) Awards Asia 2026 ในหัวข้อเรื่อง “ปัจจัยความสำเร็จของการดำเนินงาน เทคนิค และวิธีการในการเตรียมความพร้อมเพื่อเข้าร่วมการประกวด “Times Higher Education (THE) Awards Asia 2026”

Hatyai University’s success in winning the Times Higher Education Awards Asia 2024 in the “Outstanding Contribution to Regional Development” category, the university was honored by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation.
Assistant Professor Dr. Pakorn Limyothin, Vice President for Academic Affairs, was invited to be a speaker at a workshop organized by the Ministry. The workshop focused on preparing data for the Times Higher Education (THE) Awards Asia 2026, with Assistant Professor Dr. Pakorn presenting on “Success Factors for Operations: Techniques and Methods for Preparing to Participate in the Times Higher Education (THE) Awards Asia 2026.”
This achievement reflects Hatyai University’s academic excellence in regional development and community engagement, which has gained both national and international recognition. Hatyai University will serve as a model for other higher education institutions in Thailand to elevate the standards of Thai education.
